Really? With a correct call, LSU would have been up 35-28. How is that not deciding the game? Again, you're assuming that it wasn't correct. First of all, LSU should have kicked the FG. Second, the call you are talking about happened in the first half giving LSU plenty of time to overcome it. Which they did, and only 15 seconds into the second half. Third, LSU went ahead by 7 halfway through the 3rd quarter. All they had to do was hold the lead. But, they didn't.......ND scored two more touchdowns and held LSU scoreless the rest of the game. You can't blame any of that on a call in the first half. Whether the replay call was correct or not, ND won and they deserved to win. The replay booth didn't cost them the game. 1. I agree. I'd have kicked the FG, but Les Miles has had tremendous success with fake FGs and punts. 2. The call happened on the next to last play of the first half. I'd rather speculate on what it would have done to ND's game approach had they fallen behind 35-21 instead or 28-21. At the end of my speculation, LSU was screwed over with a bad booth call. I can understand the officials on the field missing it in real time, but the booth official had every opportunity to correct the missed call. 3. Did you watch the game? ND scored a TD and was allowed to kick a field goal with 4 seconds left for the win when LSU should have been up 35-28. 4. I watched all of the replays closely. There was more than enough evidence to overturn the field call. The booth official did cost LSU the game and he should be punished for doing so.

There was more than enough evidence to overturn the field call. You had the same exact video feed to your TV as I had to mine, and as everybody else did. At no time in the replay could you see a knee not down. As mentioned, "assuming", without actual footage isn't considered. If there was a "bad call", it happened via both line refs. The booth can't "assume". Get over it. An sEC team getting punked by a better team happens.

Did you watch the game? ND scored a TD and was allowed to kick a field goal with 4 seconds left for the win when LSU should have been up 35-28. no, they shouldn't. please see above.4. I watched all of the replays closely. There was more than enough evidence to overturn the field call. The booth official did cost LSU the game and he should be punished for doing so. no, he didn't. lsu took the lead in the 2nd half and couldn't hold it. again, please see above.

Well, since we're speculating, how do you know that ND wouldn't have run the kick off back at the end of the first half and still had a 7-point lead? Could happen, right? Strange things happen in football games. Ask Central Michigan.
Whether it was a good call or bad call by the replay official, it still didn't cost LSU the game. LSU had plenty of time to win and every opportunity to do so and they weren't able to seal the deal. That's my point.

I guess you will just have to wait until the championship game is over to know I am right.
Alabama isn't playing ND for the championship.
That's because alabama is head and shoulders better than ND.
comparitive scores would indicate otherwise.
Only if LSU played both alabama and ND on the SAME DAY.
Take LSU out of the equation, compare their opponents and outcomes, and only a fool would suggest the domers are better than alabubba.
I gave ND credit for being better than LSU yesterday ---- one day out of 365. What more do you want?

OSU shouldn't even BE in the top 4. TCU is better.
