Vegas isn't the deciding factor, but they are pretty good at determining the best team. Without their#1qb fsu isn't one of the best teams. Deserving? Ok, but deserving doesn't get you in, just ask tcu. And that’s why it’s an invitational and not a playoff. Of course, in fairness, would have been 12 teams already if not for The Alliance. Alliance?

WOW! Had no idea those 3 conferences sabotaged the cfp. And it kind of back fired on them.

I know you disagree. No problem with that. Hell, if Vegas is the deciding factor, why have a committee in the first place? And if it’s the “4 best” teams….would that include Georgia? I imagine Vegas would say yes. It’s not right that a 13-0 team from a P5 conference is sitting out the invitational tournament. JMO. Georgia would be favored against every single one of the playoff teams, including Bama. This was 100% about money, specifically ESPN money. And it sucks.

BAMA just beat and covered the line vs uga, so i don't know where you come up with that. Im not so sure they'd be favored over Michigan The b10 and acc shot themselves in the foot with this "Alliance" thing.

And by always, I mean going back 75-100 years. There’s just a lot more money around these days. And for sure. Alabama was the beneficiary this time around. If the Tide had lost its QB yet still won out with defense, the media narrative would have been about Nick Saban as a coaching genius, resiliency, overcoming adversity, etc. And for Cbis, I’m not knocking Alabama, and I’m not an FSU fan…..my issue is with this bullshit committee.

What just happened means very little to Vegas. And given that Michigan is only a 1 point favorite over the Tide, Georgia would be favored over them, too.

Maybe Maybe not The only ones arguing for Alabama in the Playoff are Bammer fans and Nick Saban.
