Mizzou looked solid today. I had a feeling ("That Certain Feeling" by my first band in the 70's, "Sacred Fire" - don't make me post a link!) that Mizzurah would pull off the upset.

Who would have thought it possible earlier in the season, but UGA at Vandy may be a good game.

Who would have thought it possible earlier in the season, but UGA at Vandy may be a good game. Depends on who you ask, I guess. Had dinner last night with my Vandy friend and she was EXXXXSTATTTTIICCCCC!!! The Commies are beginning to be an interesting team. With what Mizzou has been doing to teams, the Vandy loss that looked so bad now doesn't look quite as big a deal now. IMO, they outplayed Carolina in that loss, so all in all...this is a team that is making some noise.

Auburn got lucky, but that's what happens sometimes in a march to a possible SEC championship season.

Auburn got lucky, but that's what happens sometimes in a march to a possible SEC championship season. .....especially when the refs were clearly paid off and handed the Lizards a touchdown and then all covered for each other with the ol' no disputable evidence riff-raff ...Also, the 2 Gator defenders who collided, tipped the ball and lost the game for florida were obviously poorly coached and not told that they didn't need to intercept the ball but mearly knock it to the ground and go home winners....Even the fact that they collided shows them to be inexperienced and foolish... The Gators NOW have lost the last 5 games .... Letz C now, as memory serves, they haven't tasted this plate of defeat since I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL IN NINETEEN HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE (1979 for you Gator alumni ) Have a nice day

Ummm, the poodles lost to AU, not UF. Kutt me some slack, I'm on a roll The slack you get cut is (or should be) in direct proportion to the connection with with reality that you demonstrate, Lee. ET has it just about right. Look, we all get that Carolina was immensely excited over a home win by 5 points over a decimated Gator team. Us Dawgs get it that you are quietly frustrated that the Chickens didn't get to play a similarly depleted Dawg outfit. Instead, your barnyard flock lost by 10 to a Dawg team that was almost at full strength except for its leading receiver; and your rub-it-in HC left 2 TO's in his pocket at the end of the 4th out of fear that if he used them the final score would have been 48-31, not 41-31. The Georgia Dome was a feather-free zone this season in spite of the Chickens having the easiest cross-conference schedule by far of any team in the SEC East. No Auburn, no Bama, no LSU. That's how it rolls sometimes. Gamecocks still had a great season, 11 wins. It just seems bizarre for you to be ignoring that and turning into a bandwagon fan for a program which has the dirtiest history in all the SEC, especially when you've demonstrated no previous interest in them. But maybe you don't know that history either. Sad, sad, sad. Vindex Georgia Bulldogs

He probably has no usable skills and has a menial job cleaning toilets for a Georgia grad. I just usually ignore him.

But maybe you don't know that history either. Sad, sad, sad. Vindex Georgia Bulldogs Well, safe to say things are peachy-Kean in Athens lately....Here is the latest : In the hours following Pruitt’s introduction as Georgia’s new defensive coordinator Wednesday, two more assistants decided to leave the Bulldogs. Chris Wilson, the Bulldogs’ defensive line coach for the past year, accepted a position on the staff at USC, people familiar with Wilson’s decision told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Meanwhile, inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti is returning to work for the NFL’s Washington Redskins, according to several published reports, citing sources. He will also coach inside linebackers for the Redskins, according to The Washington Post. That means that Pruitt, who left BCS champion Florida State to take over the Bulldogs’ defense, will have to hire a new staff. Defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, who also coached outside linebackers, took the same job at Louisville. Defensive backs coach Scott Lakatos resigned Thursday. Pruitt said he will coach defensive backs. Both Olivadotti and Wilson expressed interest in succeeding Grantham, but neither got the chance. Coach Mark Richt tabbed Pruitt 48 hours after accepting Grantham’s resignation. Richt said at Wednesday’s news conference he hoped both Wilson and Olivadotti would return, “if they want to.” The mass exodus comes at the end of a season in which Georgia finished in the bottom half of the SEC in almost every defensive category except for rush defense.
