OSU has 4 under consideration. Not a 5 star player among them. Amazing. Too bad that the 4 will steal enough points from each other in regional balloting that none will win it. Or OSU will send 2 to NYC next December. I wonder what the "odds-makers" have for that scenario?

Interesting that the presumed starting QB has the worst odds of the 3. Weird, actually.

Interesting that the presumed starting QB has the worst odds of the 3. Weird, actually. Or.......Wilson and Marshall will have competition, or relief at their spot. Or Marshall gets moved to Devon Smiths position. I would hate to see the flanker throw back ( spencer to thomas) 6 or 7 times a game. Or I might love it.

When we saw what JT could do, the mere thought of having him and Braxton on the field together next year made me salivate a little. Throw Cardale in the mix now, too and if all three on the roster come September you have to believe some trickeration is going to be in order. Too much talent to keep on the bench for an entire 60 minutes. BTW, I expect Marshall to move out wide opposite Thomas and have Wilson fill the slot position with more regularity. Clark could be the next man up but at 5'10" you have to believe he is suited more for the slot, too. I don't follow recruiting much but I wonder if we have any WRs coming in this year that can contribute right away.

'zackly......with two or three QBs in the backfield at once, the DBs are going to have to commit to man on man. 3 deep receivers leaves a ton of room if somebody gets behind the LBs. All three can run. Jones is a big TE/FB who has proved he can blow a 320# NG back 5 yards. Miller throws better on the run than in the pocket. The LBs have to be aware of Elliot at all times. Which leaves the Defense with 4 linemen to hold ground. Blitzing will get ya killed.

I think Fournette is an interesting pick....(IMO) He definitely has the explosive wow factor that can generate Manziel-like excitement....This year should be fun to watch....

Heard he might not sign because of the QB situation. from what i've read he's definitely not solid. he's visited lsu and miami (those are the ones i know of) since committing to meyer. in both places the need for a qb immediately is there, so i wouldn't be shocked if we lose him. read where kids more and more are making 'commitments' just to save them a place, while they keep looking. on the other side, coaches are still out there trying to flip these 'commits' up until signing day. oh to be a cfb coach in the 21st century. lol.

Next season UT will have Hurd, former Alabama running back 4 star Juco Alvin Kamara, Kendall Bussey a Neb flip, and Rocky Reid....I expect at least one of these guys will leave the team early but Jones would love to keep the other two and will be substituting backs with frequency in order to keep them fresh and give the other two talented RBs as much playing time as possible. Second reason....wide receivers. Again UT is going to be loaded. We were loaded last year but the unbelievable number of injuries at the position added to the early season collapse of the O line prevented Dobbs and UT from "strutting it's stuff". Top 50 consensus player Preston Williams will be onboard this year..he will be joining 2013 4 star Marquez North, 3 star Ryan Jenkins, Paul Harris, Johnathon Johnson, and Josh Smith 2014 4 star Josh Malone 4 star Juco Von Pearson, 3 star Vic Wharton and senior clutch Pig Howard. I won't get into the O line which will be much improved but could certainly use an Ole Miss flip come Wednesday..but with or without IMO they will be good enough to give Dobbs enough time to make a play to his very gifted options or open enough space for him to run the ball himself....the guy can scoot. My point to this rambling..... Hurd is surrounded by too much talent and will not be "the spotlight" player on offense ...if you're looking for a Hypesman dark horse.... look no further than Dobbs.
