I told Wayne all spring and summer that 5-7 for UF wasn't reasonable and the Gators would beat the vols in The Swamp in a close game. So I did tell a Tennessee fan.

Ole Miss is 3rd ranked in the nation, has one of the best offenses in the nation, has the best win in the nation with its win at bama, has an excellent defense, and has historically played well in Gainesville (6-3-1). The UF offense can't score enough to win and the UF defense can't keep the Ole Miss offense down enough to give UF a chance to win. Last week, UT had multiple opportunities to close out a 2 score win. The vols defense couldn't do it, but the rebs defense is better and can do it.

I'm more than willing to give credit where credit is due...that is exactly what you said.
For the second year in a roll the Vols let a win slip right through their fingers...same thing in the OU Vs UT game ...same thing for the Ga Vs UT game (three in a row I believe).....we're about to run out of room for all these moral trophy's <g>
Odd that on stopping 3rd down conversions UT is among the top in the nation...stopping 4th down conversions...well thats a different story .... we are like 3rd from the bottom (9 out of 10 4th down conversions have been successful) ...it's hard to win when you can't stop 4th and 16...but water under the bridge now ...Just remember this...YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT..NEXT YEAR WE KICK Y'ALL'S ASS!!
