Wrestling Preview: No. 6 Ohio State at No. 7 Missouri

Coming off of a 5th place finish at last weekend's Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, the Buckeyes will travel west to take on the Missouri Tigers, who won the CKLV running away. The Tigers have won four consecutive conference championships, the last three since becoming members of the MAC, and stand in position to win a fifth straight. The Buckeyes will look to avenge a 20-19 defeat from last year in Columbus at the hands of Missouri.

Didn't know that in the SEC, they don't offer wrestling. I guess they'd have to offer it for women to balance title IX and mud pits are expensive.

I was surprised by that as well...you would THINK, with all the macho stuff they talk about FB, they would at least get onto the mats...but like with football, they're 50 years behind times...

Maybe it has something to do w how scholarships by sport are calculated. I dear friend of mine who went to auburn on a wrestling scholarship played football as well under Shug from 65-69. Today he'd have to get his ship counted as FB. He wrestled and was a b/u LB. Or more likely it involves Title IX.
