What an absolute joke that Terrell Davis was voted down AGAIN by the national sports writing IDIOTS who vote for these HOF candidates every year!! So were Denver Bronco greats Steve Atwater and John Lynch. So were Randy Gradishar, Tom Jackson, Lyle Alzado, Dennis Smith, and Karl Mecklenburg !!
The NFL Hall of Fame voting is a JOKE !! People in Denver have known that for years.
The Denver Broncos have now won EIGHT NFL Conference Championships in the half century of the modern NFL/Super Bowl era--the most of any team in the NFL (along with Pittsburgh, New England, and Dallas.)
Yet, the Oakland Faders have MANY more FADERS in the HOF than the Denver Broncos !! And now one more?! WTF??
Denver had ZERO players in Canton until John Elway.
Then NYJ Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis were voted into Canton before their boss, Terrell Davis-- a far greater RB.
The dumbass sports writers of America said that TD didn't play "long enough" before his career-ending injury. Huh?
Hey, Dipshits, guess what? Neither did Gale Sayers!! Was Curtis Martin an MVP? How many AFC titles and NFL titles did Martin win in New Yak?? Was Bettis an MVP?
Additionally, Terrell Davis is the greatest RB in the history of the NFL playoffs--statistically.
Former NFL MVP.
Former Super Bowl MVP.
Certainly one of the greatest running backs in the history of the NFL.
What's wrong with the sports writing shits in America who vote for these HOF players-- other than low intelligence?
Randy Gradishar was a much greater LB than Pittsburgh HOFers Jack Hamm or Jack Lambert. Woody Hayes said that Randy Gradishar was the greatest linebacker he had ever coached.
The Denver Orange Crush defense was statistically quite similar to the Pittsburgh Steel Curtain in the late 70s. The entire Steel Curtain is in Canton.
Yet not ONE Orange Crush defensive player was ever voted into Canton by the national sports writing idiots-- even the GREAT Randy Gradishar, Tom Jackson, and Lyle Alzado !!!
Gary Zimmerman and Shannon Sharpe were only voted into Canton because they spent part of their NFL careers playing back East-- in Minnesota and Baltimore.

As for Terrell Davis...I see it from both sides and, fwiw, I've never thought Gale Sayers belonged because his career was too short. That said, if Davis does get in I would have no issue with it. |
