Yes, they were in Winter Haven when the accident happened. Can't remember exactly where the accident took place. It was north of Polk county, up north of the old Boardwalk and Baseball facility in a lake in Sumter or Lake county as I remember. Hit the team pretty hard. My office was only a few blocks from the stadium and we use to have people trying to park in our lot for day games all the time and we would see oh so many fans walking across our lot down First Street to Chain O' Lakes. It was on Little Lake Nellie that Olin and Crews died. they were going gator hunting. That's right, up outside Clermont. They were driving a high powered speed boat in the dark on a lake they didn't know that well. And drinking. Not a great idea, just as gator gigging drunk isn't a great idea, or lega.

Miles and miles north and south of Clermont with rolling hills, orange groves and lakes, with the highway running through it. After several freezes most of the citrus growers have moved south and all those old groves are developed with thousands of houses. I suspect if she ever suceeds selling it will be to a developer who will engineer the land into yet another retirement village.
