I said it here during his first pre-season game as an NFL rookie out of Texas A&M a few years ago, and I'll say it again. I've never seen a pass rusher who gets to the QB as fast as Von Miller. The dude is fast!
I agree that Cam Newton deserved the NFL MVP this year, but Von Miller is the MAIN reason Denver won Super Bowl 50.

C-Biscuit,
As a guy who watched a lot of Dave Krieg's games in the old AFC West, I can vouch for the fact that Krieg was no Cam Newton.
The Denver Broncos sacked Cam Newton seven times in Super Bowl 50-- holding the NFL MVP to 10 points.

Got it, the broncos defense harassed Newton all night and 7 sacks is a lot by any defense, but Thomas had 7 sacks by himself HE was unstoppable in that game and actually recorded multiple games with 5+ sacksespn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/98/derrick-thomas

Lawrence Taylor, though his best was 4 sacks in one game__he did that twice despite fullbacks chipping him and guards and/or tight ends blocking him. Joe Gibbs put in a 2 TE system just for LT and he still broke thru and broke Theissmans leg

C-Biscuit,
Dave Krieg was about as mobile in the pocket as Jeff George. Not.
Did you ever watch Dave Krieg play?
Comparing Dave Krieg to Cam Newton is sort of like comparing Raymond Berry to Randy Moss.
I watched Derrick Thomas lose to the Denver Broncos throughout his pro career in KC.
Derrick Thomas was no Von Miller.
Neither was LT. Taylor was stronger, but not nearly as fast as Von Miller.
Get a clue.

Get a clue. OK I got the clue__In the Giants vs Broncos Super Bowl___Taylor made a key touchdown saving tackle on a goal line play in the first half, stopping Broncos quarterback John Elway as he sprinted out on a rollout___I believe Elway would agree that Taylor is faster too

Get a clue. Yes I did watch Krieg play, plenty. Did you see Derrick Thomas play? The HOF took notice. C-Biscuit,
You do know, I trust, that both Dave Krieg and Derrick Thomas spent their entire pro football careers in the AFC West?
I'm an expert on the history of the AFC West. I was there at the time, and now.
I can guarantee you that a lot of Denver Bronco fans and former players have been angry at the national media clowns who vote for enshrinement at Canton.
As Karl Mecklenburg said many years ago, "Geez, we used to beat these guys."
Denver has now won 8 AFC Championships-- tied with Pittsburgh, Dallas, and New England for 1st-- and 3 Super Bowl rings.
The Raiders have done worse in the past 50 years, but they have over 25 players in Canton.
The Broncos have 4-- and one of those was a recent "senior citizen" admission-- 40 years too late.
Elway said back in 1990-- teams don't get to the Super Bowl without having a lot of great players.Huh? No trip to Canton for the NFL MVP who was, statistically, the greatest RB in NFL playoff history?

The Raiders have done worse in the past 50 years (But few did better in their golden years when most were elected), but they have over 25 players in Canton. NOPE
While there is a component of politics and popularity in HOF voting, the Denver Bs aren't alone in HOF snubs, if there were any. Your Raiders comparison for 50 yrs is misguided. from the late 60s to the mid-80s they were as good as any. With a brief blip on the radar in 2002, they have been rather poorly led since those Golden years. With one exception their HOF players were from their golden era or made their mark w other teams. The one exception is Tim Brown.
25 individuals in the HOF. Not all players. Madden, Al Davis and Ron Wolf weren't players. Dickerson, Loften, Bob Brown, Rod Woodson, Jerry Rice and Warren Sapp established their resume w other teams. Absent Brown, those who made their mark w the Raiders, played, at least part, if not all, of their storied careers, in that short golden era period. That'd mean 14 players were inducted when the Raiders were a dominate teams over roughly 15 yrs. Pretty stout, imo. If compared to other benchmark teams they may even lead representation. Shorted? I don't think so.

Oakland Raiders 5 AFC Championships 3 Super Bowl wins 25 Hall of Famers (Again untrue) Obviously you choose to ignore the content of my post. I'm not surprised. Same old Willie. They have 15 players who made their mark w the Raiders, all but one from the Golden years.
Spin it all you want but 15 players is all you can count (Davis got in for his contributions as an AFL leader, Wolf for his efforts at GB, Madden? you gonna dispute Madden?, and all but one player played in the Golden years. Denver had very good TEAMS but few HOF worthy players. Dems the facts. Unless you really are a Socialist and everyone should get a trophy. Well the participant trophies are on the shelf in the Ladies Room.

How many of Da Bears' HOFers played during the past 50 years?
Any clue?
