his widow, racquel smith, accepted her husband's graduate degree posthumously from the university of miami last might. she remains in a wheelchair after being shot in both legs from the apparent road rage incident that claimed smith's life. will, father of 3 children, was on track to graduate from miami's first mba program designed for artists and athletes. he'd planned to pursue a coaching internship with new orleans before he was killed.

his widow, racquel smith, accepted her husband's graduate degree posthumously from the university of miami last might. she remains in a wheelchair after being shot in both legs from the apparent road rage incident that claimed smith's life. will, father of 3 children, was on track to graduate from miami's first mba program designed for artists and athletes. he'd planned to pursue a coaching internship with new orleans before he was killed. a source has told espn that smith's blood alcohol level was 0.235, almost triple the legal limit in louisiana. the toxicology report was turned over to attorneys for the defendant, cardell hayes. predictably, hayes' lawyers say this shows that smith was out of control and threatening that night. attorneys for smith's widow say it has nothing to do w/the fact that smith was shot 7 or 8 times and his wife twice. hayes is facing 2nd degree murder and attempted murder charges.

When you get drunk and get stupid with another stupid guy with a gun, bad things can happen. Chances are the shooter was drunk too, but since he didn't get an autopsy, we don't get HIS BAC.
Was Mrs. Smith begging her husband NOT to get out of his car and go cuckoo?
