cleveland pounded the orioles 11-4 today.... combined w/the white sox blowing a 6 run lead to kc in the 9th, that puts the indians up a 1/2 game in the al central. 2 weeks ago the tribe was 5 1/2 games back. i think the royals, tigers as well as chicago may all trade that spot with cleveland as we head into september. should a real fun summer. can't wait to get carrasco and brantley back.

The Tribe is fourth in the AL in runs and fifth in ERA for starting rotations. They've done that with Brantley and Carrasco on the DL___hell ya cant wait get them back too well, that didn't last long. once the tribe reached first place, they decided to stop hitting. based loaded in the 8th and 2 on w/1 out in the 9th, and nary a run in the series finale vs baltimore sunday, then 2 poor offensive showings vs texas (who we always seem to struggle with) and we're two games back to the surging royals. desperately need brantley back in the line up. carrasco right now is on track to return to the club thursday. |

Gomes just got the Tribes first walk off win this season and stops their 3 game skid.... Hopefully, Carrasco pitches this weekend vs KC. Lol. You beat me to it. Much needed win heading into the kc series. Hated seeing Allen blow the save but Gomes has really been scuffling, so good to see him get the game winning hit.

Should be a fun series starting Thursday. KC has quietly pulled things together and gotten on a good roll. You should see Ventura, Volquez, Kennedy and Young. Lost another OF to DL last night but Perez says he may be ready to return to action over the weekend. First place will be on the line.

The Tribe completes the sweep of the the Rays and now go on a 10 game road trip that takes them into July___they’ll end the month of June with a perfect 11-0 at home. Impressive!

The Tribe completes the sweep of the the Rays and now go on a 10 game road trip that takes them into July___they’ll end the month of June with a perfect 11-0 at home. Impressive! Been a very good week up on thenorth coast. Bauer looked great last night, just like Kluber did Tuesday. Indians are now 31-7 when they score first, they out scored the Rays 13-1 in the last 3 innings of this 3 games series too. Naquin, Davis, Ramirez have all been nice surprises at the plate. Uribe has homered in 3 straight games. Chisenhall and kipnis are finding their strokes, Napoli has provided power and Lindor is playing like an all star. If Gomes can pick up his hitting... You wondered how this team would react after the 3 games sweep in kc. Winning their next 6 games was a good reaction. Ha |

Earlier that day the tribe got a walk off win for their 3rd straight victory, and have added 5 more in the last 6 days. Lindor hits 2 dingers, Gomes and samara homer also, and carrasco pitches a 4 hit shutout. 8-0 vs the Tigers so far this year. Indian fever. Be a believer. Outscoring the tigers 51-16 in those 8 games. ..we get almonte back July 3rd and Brantley possibly late July |
