Great weekend for the Tribe. I still think it's a different weekend if they don't blow the first game. Right now the starting pitching has just been terrible and you can only ask so much of the bullpen. To make matters worse, the two best options in the minors had setbacks this week as well.

Make it 6 straight wins for the tribe. Bauer goes 7 1/3 of 1 run 5 hit ball in a 3-1 win at Seattle. Now up to 2 1/2 game lead over kc. 32-24. I haven't given Jose Ramirez his due this year. His double tied the game at 1 and he came home to score the game winner on a sac fly. He's batting .317 w 3 hrs and 20 rbis.

bats have gone silent the last 2 nights up in seattle, losing 7-1 tuesday and 5-0 last nite. chance for a split tonite. tomlin on the mound.... he's 8- 1 this season, 4-0 on the road. would be good to see gomes and ramirez back in the line up after sitting out for minor injuries from foul tips. next up is a trip to anaheim for a weekender w/the angels, and then out to kc, who the tribe set into a tailspin w/that sweep, losing 7 straight. tribe still up 2.5 on the royals and tigers at 32-26. indians haven't had a 3 game division lead since '12. why not take care of that tonite?

I'm not the fan I was years ago, but still follow along...it seems to me the Tribe had problems last year going to the west coast...I know there's nothing that can be done about time change, but I'd think Francona should address this and bring it out in the open before it becomes a mental block or something...

Went to bed last night with the Tribe losing 1-0___get up this morning and they won it 5-3 and watched hi-lites of Tyler Naquin hitting a 2 run jack. nice split to start out in the west coast

i stayed up a little longer... watched the tribe take a 2-1 lead in the top of the 7th then tomlin gave up a homer to tie it at 2, but couldn't make it any further. if i'd stayed up one more inning i would have seen naquin golf that change up out for the game-winner. that's 4 dingers in the last 10 games and he's batting .325. not bad, tho he has struck out 29 times in just 83 ab's so that's something to work on. but with brantley still out and byrd getting himself kicked out of baseball, guys like naquin and davis have gotten their chance to play and taken advantage. tomlin scrapped last night... just 2 runs allowed in 6 1/3, both on hr's. cleveland now 33-26, 3 games up on the royals/tigers, biggest 1st place lead the indians have had in 4 years. kluber goes tonite vs angels.

Kluber pitched a gem tonite. 2 runs on 3 hits w 8 k's in a complete game 6-2 win. He's rounding into form. Why couldn't the Cavs' shooting be as on target as his pitches?? Lol. He's now beaten every team in the American League except the a's.

Top of the 3rd, Tribe already up 5-0... tribe wins 8-3. santana's goes yard twice from both sides of the plate... lindor hit a hr in the 1st before santana's first dinger, and salazar give up 1 run on 3 hits in 5 2/3 inning. so indians take the series 2-1 over the angels, and head to kc for another big series w/the royals. uribe got hurt today playing 3rd base, when mike trout ripped a grounder down the line and bad hop caught uribe right in the uribes. he was down for quite a while. also worried about zach mcallister, who again looked shaky in relief today. he has a 95-96 mph fastball but no 2nd pitch, let alone a 3rd. there's still room for someone to step up as a set up man...

ZacMac has been with Tribe 4/5 years now and cant get it together to be trusted in late innings. That 2nd pitch looks to be a change up that aint fooling hitters___Time to bring up TJ house from Columbus
