Kipnis just went yard to put the tribe up 8-2 entering the bottom of the 9th. Chisenhall's 3 run dinger early got them the lead. 6 different players have scored tonite and 6 different players have at least 1 rbi. Bauer goes 6+ strong innings. It's the 7th straight game Cleveland has scored 6+ runs; first time they've done that in 11 years. If they hold on that's also 10 straight wins.

Indians beat the Braves 5-3 tonight for their 11th straight win.__The winning streak is Cleveland's longest in 34 years. wow.... Nice start w 2 runs in the 1st, better finish w 3 in the 9th. Kluber didn't give up a hit til the 6th when a grounder to Lindor ended w his throw pulling Santana off the bag(ruled a hit, should have been an error) opened the door for the braves' only 2 runs. Cody Allen looked pretty shaky in the 9th, giving up a homer and a triple. Tribe also benefitted from a basic tie play at first that was ruled an out. But a win is a win.

But Salazar pitched a gem: no runs on 5 hits spread out over 7 innings. The tribe starters have a combined era of 1.91 on this win streak. Timely hitting from kipnis, whose 2-run single gave him an 11 game hitting streak, and chisenhall who went yard again in the 6th. He's batting something like .432 w 10 rbis in the last 12. Plus they played great defense tonite. Naquin and Davis both made sterling plays in the of. Ramirez took a sacrifice bunt attempt and turns it into a double play. And kinda made a tough short hop play in the 9th look quite easy. Sweet!!
