cleveland is also 21-6 i believe in the month of june, w/one game remaining. just fun to see them playing this well, and it all starts on the mound. carrasco goes tonite in toronto vs r.a. dickey, one of the few remaining knuckle-ballers in the majors. I believe the streak ends in Toronto. .Raptor fans will enjoy that up 3-1 in the 8th now. carrasco struck out 14 but francona lifted him after a 1 out double. shaw is scuffling again, already walked a guy and is struggling to find the plate.

Mark__the great pitching has been masking our flaws at the plate. 13 runners left on base tonight. I believe they left 14 on base last night. great win tonight and 1-2-3 for Allen was a good feeling

I believe they left 14 on base last night. great win tonight and 1-2-3 for Allen was a good feelingNo doubt this team is more opportunistic than strong in terms of hitting. That said, in this streak the tribe has played 79 runs, or 6 per game. You should win most of your games with that kind of production. You wonder about the benefits of picking up a free agent bat, vs damaging this team's chemistry. Think I mentioned earlier that you wonder how the dog days of summer will affect the line up which includes a lot of journeymen combined with a couple stars (Lindor, I'd put kipnis in there) and regulars like Santana and chisenhall. Naquin, Davis, Ramirez all have been very pleasant surprises as we hit the halfway mark in the season. ... It starts in the very first inning!

An incredible stat and proof that this staff is doing the job.
