You ain't got no alibi. You ugly... That game was ugly. Gimenez pitching two innings of bp speed to give at least some of the bullpen a break. I thought Kluber would go deep but he had 95 pitches by the 4th inning and I think tribe pitchers had 10 walks by the 7th. Under normal circumstances a 4 game split in Toronto vs this blue jay team would be ok. But dropping 2 straight after 14 wins, and giving up 26 runs in the last 18 innings after allowing just 1 in the previous 19? Lol. That's baseball. Turn the page and get ready for the Tigers and Yankees.

Yeah, turn the page, Tigers up next and they are just 5.5 games back! If you'd told me that at the halfway point of the season the tribe would be 49-32 and leading the division, I'd have been ecstatic. And I am. Sure you are too. In terms of potential changes on offense? Obviously a healthy Brantley would be huge, but naquin is batting .300+, Davis is leading the league in steals and chisenhall is starting to warm up and all of them have played good defense. Napoli and Santana have shared 1b/dh and are leading the teams in hr's, despite both hitting around .240. Kipnis is at .270, Lindor at .300. Neither of those guys are going to be replaced. And at 3b, tho uribe is at .230, he seems to have provided some spark, Ramirez is batting .400 with runners in scoring position. Hell francona loved him to cleanup because of that. Really need to get more offense out of the catcher. Both Gomes and gimenez are under .200 right now. But both are great behind the plate and the pitching staff has confidence in both of them.

At 49-32__I'm very happy halfway thru and the Tribe has played well in the second half finishing strong in September in past years__Starting past seasons slow and below .500 has hurt the Tribe,Tito has righted the ship on that
