rough weekend but a deal for aroldis chapman is on the table from the Tribe Today's finish makes that deal look even more important... it's the 7th time this year that the indians have suffered a walk-off loss. if that doesn't lead the league, it's close. yesterday it was an error (allen got a strike out in the 9th which should have been the 2nd out of the inning, but perez let the ball get away then hit the batter in the helmet as he ran to 1st) that opened the door for the winning 2-run homer, both runs being unearned. bats went silent after heating up for most of the past month, vs some pretty mediocre baltimore pitchers, and after today's off day you've got another good team, the nats, on the horizon. since the 14 game win streak ended on 7/2/16, the tribe is 7-11. the bullpen, both middle relief as well as closers, have been either mediocre or struggled for most of the season, and the relievers have lost 4 of those 11 games.
