The 74th annual Golden Globes featured seven wins for "La La Land," the most ever for a film in one year at the ceremony.
This, and the political rally where it took place, are so fittingly stuck together... BEAUTIFUL... (I never heard of the movie before this morning)

Hey Meryl, baby love, darling ............. here's some news for you. You are NOBODY. Your opinion means nothing. Your big nasty mouth only disrespects the Americans who paid their money to make you rich and (somewhat) famous. You just start running your mouth and somehow think you speak the truth. You think you Hollyweirdos are America's saviors and moral compass. First off, you all live in the REAL la-la-land, and your moral compass is broken. Hollyweird is one of the most IMMORAL shitholes on planet earth.
Let me clue you in. I have never wanted to see a movie you are in because you are pretty, smart, or even a competent actress! Any time I've seen you in a movie, I have had to hold back the puke and wonder how anyone as ugly and untalented as you could get a job in the film industry. I've seen better acting from Miss Piggy.
So dear Miss Meryl, take your ugly pointed nose and kindly f-word yourself in the ass with it. I've seen better looking faces on Kentucky Derby winners.

She actually lost it in the rest of the state of California. Which is why we all know that is why the electoral college was created. To prevent big cities from being the deciding factor. |

He lost Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Francisco County, Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley), Sacramento County....basically, you name it, and he lost it. And for the record, the vote in LA County was killer.....71% - 23% in favor of Clinton. |

It is partly about Trump, as he responded...again. Meryl Streep is free to say whatever she wants. I watched that part of the broadcast and she said what was on her mind. Nothing to get agitated over...FWIW, I don't assign her more (or less) value than anyone else.

Have you seen the crap movies they put out now? I haven't. The trailers on TV are enough to make me puke. Who needed a 14th remake of Star Wars? Who needs to see a new Wonder Woman?
How many movies can be made where all the action is in slow motion, and people can flip 10 times while flying through the air for 50 feet?

I'm beginning to think that you, and we all, are falling into a trap with that thinking. Responding to Streep IS Trump's way of acting like the POTUS. That's what he's going to do for the next 4 years. It's who he is. And, frankly, as a management style, it could actually yield some results in areas where PR matters. For instance, fear of being called out by Trump has, it seems, affected how CEOs do the math about certain decisions they make. A Trump tweet has to be taken into account. Attacking Streep just shows a CEO that nothing is too small or trivial to matter to Trump. It's wierd, but it seems to work. It's fascinating to watch Trump. He seems to have the upper hand at PR at the moment. Eventually, I think it will wear out. Eventually, some CEO or senator is going to tell Trump to pound sand, and when nothing happens as a result of it, the Emperor's clothes will be revealed. |
