The entertainment industry has been almost monolithic in it's opposition to Trump and and anything even vaguely conservative. Now that conservatives are in control, do they need to be taught a lesson?
I haven't thought out all the detail of how this would be done. But maybe some combination of the following:
- A weakening/shortening of copyright protection on movies, TV shows, and music.
- A tax on copyright royalty payments.
- Some sort of licensing requirement for anyone charging/getting paid to perform (I might include athletes in this also.) There would be fees, mandatory drug testing, and suspensions for any type of criminal conviction.
This does sound like big government run amok. But the celebrities seem to love big government. So maybe some of it should be shoved up their asses.

My opinion is no, unless you think the whole IRS going after conservatives thing was cool.
I'd like to see the government run more efficiently, effectively, Constitutionally, and for all the people for a change.
I'd like to see Trump and Congress "stick it" to Hollywood by so totally revamping the tax code they are more prosperous than ever (along with the rest of us.) Maybe they'll stop being such commies, but at least we'll all be better off either way. They are going to have a hard time arguing with all the "winning" going on. Nobody pays attention to them now and Trump's only been Pres for a day.

The gov't has no right to try and suppress free speech from either side, within reason of course. The way to strike back at Hollyweird nutcases is to simply not patronize their "work." Don't attend their movies, plays, concerts, and don't buy their recorded works. Don't purchase the products they hawk in commercials. Let the advertisers know WHY you won't buy their products.

It's probably not too late to investigate and charge EVERYONE who was involved in that, all the way to the TOP. Remember, Barry plans to live in D.C., within easy snatching distance of an honest DoJ. How funny it would be to see the FBI snatch him out of his house in his pink chiffon robe and bunny slippers!

Like I said, you're an idiot. We're only about 40 hours away from the new President opening up the whole can of whoop ass. That guy they said would never be POTUS is about to do all those things they said he would never have the chance to do.
