The press conference accomplished exactly what it was intended to accomplish. The MSM has been put on notice.
Furthermore:
- The MSM (CNN, PBS) did objectively and provably lie about crowd size. Just look at the photos. The real photos, not the Obama full crowd v.s. the Trump crowd-is-just-forming photo, but the Obama full crowd photo v.s. the CNN megapixel Trump full crowd photo. The fact is that the MSM lied again, attempted to foist fake news on us.
- The MLK bust was NOT removed. The fact is that the MSM lied again, attempted to foist fake news on us.
- The MSM is now on notice that this bullshit will not be tolerated, will be pointed out in no uncertain terms directly to the voters. The MSM no longer controls the narrative. Fact will rule the day.

I see your reading comprehension problems are popping up again. Is that like when you get caught in your lies and get so flustered you can't put English words together to make an understandable sentence? Or your failure to read what is actually being posted or referenced (by your own admission), and just saying what your handler instructs you to think?

How "big the crowd was" is not all that important to me. What is important is the nonstop never ending attempts of the MSM to delegitimize Trump. Above is the NY Times picture to show 2009 crowd compared to 2016. It is from: www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/01/20/us/politics/trump-inauguration-crowd.html As seen in the other photos this is a gross attempt to deceive the public. An honest media would note there were 75 protest groups trying to hinder access to the Trump inauguration and that they had been announcing their intent for weeks. Perhaps an honest media would observe that Washington DC voted 93% for obama in 2009, and 93% for Clinton in 2016. The neighboring states of MD and VA also both went to obama and Clinton. So all of the immediate population was overwhelmingly on the side of the protesters. I remember seeing this shot BEFORE the inauguration actually started because I remember thinking "Wow, they sure are waiting until the last minute to let the crowds in". The same camera angle later in broadcast showed a full house. That being said, it likely was still smaller and as many have said, it doesn't matter. He's still the President.

I thought that would be a good scene to mend some fences, but... 2. at the newser, except for saying, in essence, 'I love you guys', he's spends nearly all his time talking nothing about the cia or security issues in general, but instead about how smart he is, crowd size at the inaugural (which spicer expanded on later), other rambling ad libs, nothing about issues, specifics on agenda priorities; why?

Oh come on Mark...the rope-a-dope is not about crowd size, it's about the media's constant attempts to downplay the President and his election. Look at those pictures, and the difference in time of day is obvious. The Atlantic posted pix from the Capitol Building as Trump approached the podium ( www.theatlantic.com/photo/2017/01/photos-of-the-inauguration-of-president-donald-j-trump/513995/ ) The crowd at the CIA, and the support Trump received from that crowd demonstrates again that Trump was not demeaning the rank & file, but rather the political appointees that filtered and interpreted the work of those fine people. And that THEY understood that. The coverage of the presser also pointed out that according to the 'deal' made earlier, Mike Pompeo was supposed to have been confirmed, and I'm pretty sure the original intent was to include him and how he would work with the agency. The last minute change in plans had a lot to do with what he was able or prepared to say.

No, I didn't watch Trump... This thread was started about Press Secretary Sean Spicer and his press conference on Saturday (afternoon here). Sharon & I were watching movies Sat, and that PC happened while we were on pause between movies. The MSM has misrepresented what he said, and the comparisons he drew on. The transcript of that PC is available on line. I've said for almost a year now that I am not a Trump supporter. There were at least 10 conservatives I would have selected before DJT. That said, I wrote letters/emails to the several reps I normally communicate with about not bucking the peoples choice, and supporting Trump after he won the voters & nomination. Again, I was an ABC supporter, and cast my vote towards the candidate who had the best chance of defeating her highness. It appears I made the correct selection. All that said, all I'm saying now is the man won. He's said/wrote/tweeted 'unpopular' things as far as decorum is concerned, prior to the inauguration. NOTHING as disturbing as Obama during his election, and no where near the doubts. I watched a little of the inauguration, sort of listened to more (I was doing things around the house, the TV was on). Trump MAY be the biggest criminal to be in office (THAT is saying a lot). But as of this moment, he's done nothing horrible that the public is aware of. He's broken no laws in the past 72 hours. IMHO, the condemnation and misrepresentation that we continue to see and hear is just wrong.

Why not just watch what he said, in replay video on the net? And then you can tell us how he was misrepresented, please. I understand that his complaint about the misplaced statuary was corrected almost immediately.

The f-ing liar claimed his view of it was blocked by someone. Why didn't he just move to a different vantage point, or wait until he had a clear of the pedestal before he wrote his lie? You liberals are dumb as shit.

That particular one especially... & he obviously doesn't understand much more than what his propaganda-writers tell him.
