I know how media is defined. I've also witnessed how you've used that word down thru the years. big difference. and I agree about commenting on the boy. don't agree it was hateful. but it was a big swing and a miss at humor. I figured THAT was something you could both sympathize and empathize with. Well, I actually did find it kind of funny in my own gallows-humor way, and if it were kept in a private conversation, I'd have no problem with it. If you heard shit cops say at major crime scenes, you might be appalled, but the general public would never hear it.
I have said things about the Obama girls and marijuana, but I would never suggest that they are potential murderers.
It's not as much about WHAT was said as it is the fact that the entire mainstream NEWS media is in full-on attack mode of Donald Trump. They claim they want the nation to be united and heal the rifts, but they damn sure aren't doing their share to make it happen, are they? At what point do you expect the liberals to say something complimentary about President Trump?

At what point do you expect the liberals to say something complimentary about President Trump? I was a reporter for 13 years. I've covered crime scenes and occasionally hung out w the cops, firefighters, medics, etc in my younger days. It was good for me to see them off the job, and vice versa. I wouldn't go as far as say we were all friends but it helped me better understand the minutiae of their world (the dangers were self evident) and, again, vice versa. As for the 'full attack' mode on trump? lmao. did you happen to notice his campaign the last 2 years? or your rhetoric the last decade? being divisive and derogatory has been not just his m.o., its absolutely fueled his political base; giving every entity who's 'wronged' them the figurative middle finger. Hell we just saw that this wknd. as for compliments on trump? I speak only for myself, more moderate than liberal or conservative, but I already pointed out something he did Friday that was also commented on multiple times by the various news stations I watched (nbc fox cbs and cnn, where one of my nieces works); how he recognized hillary clinton at his luncheon, which prompted a standing ovation from the audience. that after he spent over a year leading chants of 'lock her up' and her charges of trump being unfit for office. in a weekend I never thought I'd witness, that offered a glimmer of hope, whether it was genuine or just a gesture for the cameras. much of what he did the rest of the weekend made it seem like the latter. I hope it's more if the former...

Do you really think he was going to compliment Hitlery for HER role in Obama's "let's ruin America" agenda?
I give Bill and Hillary both credit for showing up at the inauguration, with one important observation. Bill is a FORMER PRESIDENT, and it's almost an unwritten law that he HAD to be there. Hillary is a former First Lady, so ditto for her. Trust me ......... if they had been ordinary Democrats, they would NOT have been there. Yes, it was nice of Trump to mention them, apparently trying to take the high road and mend the rift that has torn the country apart. So far .......... Democrats are refusing to accept his hand extended in friendship.
Repubs control the gov't ............ like it or not. As long as Dems reject Trump, they only hurt themselves.

It's a traditional protocol for living ex presidents to attend inaugurals. Like it's been protocol for presidential candidates to share their tax returns. the clintons didn't have to be there. give them credit for that instead of saying otherwise. as for whatever Hillary would have done? matters not at this point. and trump didn't stay on the high road Very long thru the weekend.

The thing I truly appreciate about Trump v Obama is that Trump is never a passive/aggressive phony shyster. No passive at all about the guy.

No it isn't. Did Washington share his tax returns? How about A. Lincoln? Eisenhower? It is INDIVIDUAL choice. Of course, before 1913, the travesty known as Federal Income Tax did not exist.
Maybe you should learn some FACTS:Individual income tax returns — including those of public figures — are private information, protected by law from unauthorized disclosure. Indeed, the Internal Revenue Service is barred from releasing any taxpayer information whatsoever, except to authorized agencies and individuals. Like all other citizens, U.S. presidents enjoy this protection of their privacy. Since the early 1970s, however, most presidents have chosen to release their returns publicly. In the hope of making this information more widely available, the Tax History Project at Tax Analysts has compiled an archive of presidential tax returns. In addition, we have made available returns from recent candidates for president, including those running in party primaries. The Tax History Project is currently compiling a more complete archive of candidate returns, and we welcome suggestions on who to include and where to find additional returns. www.taxhistory.org/www/website.nsf/web/presidentialtaxreturnsAnd you're too late anyway, pal. Donald Trump is not a candidate. He IS the President of the United States, and he is going to be a great one. He is not a pussy, like the POS we have put up with for the past 8 years.
