good guy shooting......... 'panky b fallin dooooooown enh deee do !!!!! He is UNJAMMING his semiauto pistol. Probably not a Glock or a 1911. Yes, because we all know the only guns that don't FTF are the ones that you own because you tell us all the time. Actually, I have had my Glock AND my 1911 jam at one time or another. The Glock jammed because it didn't like the bullet shape I used. The 1911 was due to faulty ammo. I had enough sense to test the bullet shape and the ammo on the range, and that ammo never made it to carry purposes. No gun is 100% jam proof, but most of it is caused by bad ammo or bad magazines. You eliminate this problem by stringent range tests first. But you knew that, right?
And the good news is, the bullet shape that the Glock didn't like works just fine in my Colt, High Standard and S&W .45's, so I have lost nothing in the long run.

The only stoppage I ever had with the G20SF was when I was putting my new KKM barrel through its paces. Glock barrels have generous chambers, sloppy so to speak, and are not fully supported. Shooting really hot 10mm rounds in a Glock barrel is not recommended and the brass will be ruined with bulge at the unsupported area of the chamber. The KKM chambers are very tight and accurate and I had one stuck case shooting full house Double Tap ammo. Used extra lube until she was good and 'broken in'... has purred like a kitty ever since.

All combat weapons have "generous" chambers. A too-tight defensive weapon is what you DON'T want. A stoppage is OK in competition, but not on the street. I'll trade one inch at 25 yards for 100% reliability any day. Also, Glock does not recommend lead bullets, whereas they function just fine in a 1911 and in my S&W. You have to know your gun, and no two are alike.
I'm not sure what you extra lubed, but if it was the chamber, that was the WRONG thing to do. The chamber should always be clean and dry.

ObviousMaybe someday you'll tell us something we don't already know, except for obvious opinion pieces. FACT. ETA: The G20 a fun gun. If I intended to use it for SD it would have the Glock barrel in it, duh.

I also have to keep it simple because there are some people here who don't know a lot about guns, and it is our duty to give them GOOD information, not liberal lies.
