No. Liberals will never accept the truth. Sadly, this is true. How in the world do we ever protect loony liberals from themselves? Is that even possible?

To your point, Fred, a nice juicy section might be added to the H occupancy classification to protect the public from numbskulls like this gun store owner. He needs a front window....why, exactly? That would be like a bank having a front window to the vault. Oh...wait....that won't help. The gun shop owner sells the guns to gun owners, and guess what happens then? Stuff like this: Between January 2016 and March 2017, of the 300 weapons taken more than 280 were handguns, the majority were semi-automatic pistols. One AR-15 rifle, at least 15 shotguns, five rifles and one crossbow were stolen, according to statistics provided by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. investigators with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office started looking at gun store burglaries in Central Florida and worked closely with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Out of that investigation, deputies looked at the number of cars left unlocked with firearms in them. They found that mostly handguns were taken from the center consoles, under seats and from back seats of unlocked cars, Chitwood said. www.news-journalonline.com/news/20170414/300-guns-stolen-from-unlocked-cars-in-volusia What is the one common denominator in your story, Walt? Let's think reeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaal hard. Oh wait, I know!!!! EVERY GUN WAS STOLEN BY A CRIMINAL. A CRIMINAL??? YES, WALTER .......... A CRIMINAL. A BAD PERSON.
Gee, Walt ..... is it illegal to steal a gun? Is it illegal to steal ANYTHING? Do we have laws that make stealing illegal? Why yes, yes we do, Walt. We have LAWS that say you will get in trouble if you steal something. But gee, Walt, people keep stealing things anyway.
Why Walt? Why do people steal things? The LAW says we can't. Why doesn't that LAW stop them, Walt?
Why do you want to blame the VICTIM for what the CRIMINAL does, Walt? Please tell the class why you point your finger in the wrong direction. So, since in all of human history, no law, not even laws drawn up (allegedly) by God, has ever ended crime, what is their purpose?

So, since in all of human history, no law, not even laws drawn up (allegedly) by God, has ever ended crime, what is their purpose? To give us a standard to live by, and to punish those who don't. You will notice that most people stop for stop signs and red lights, and stay fairly close to the speed limit even if there are no cops around anywhere. Why? Because most people have a natural sense of wanting to do what is right. For instance ....... a "no guns" sign will stop most honest people, but it will NOT stop a bad guy. Bad people do NOT obey laws, signs, or paper restraining orders.
How many times do you have to be told this before it FINALLY sinks in? STOP BLAMING VICTIMS and good people for the things bad people do!!!

Further, would you like to have a good mechanism in place to punish those who have guns illegally?

Now put that number alongside the convictions for illegal possession of stolen property involving guns. Then put that alongside the number of crimes committed using stolen guns. Then tell me if you think the 'standard' of which you speak has been effective.

Walter believes in punishing and restricting the law-abiding for the actions of the law-breakers who recognize no laws or restrictions. Brilliant.

Walter believes in punishing and restricting the law-abiding for the actions of the law-breakers who recognize no laws or restrictions. Brilliant. Fred believes in making it as easy as possible for criminals to get guns and wants no law that would aid authorities to be able to prosecute those who violate the law. He also doesn't want firearms to have immobilizing, shut down and lock down technology that every cellphone on the planet has. He likes the idea that if his gun is stolen it becomes a criminal's gun. He likes that it can be used to kill innocent people instead of becoming a paperweight. Fred is brilliant...not.
