LBJ does not go to a Western Conference team. Just doesnt make sense. Rumors started like this last year when the Cavs won. He will wait til mid July, sign another 1 year contract and keep plugging away. He's 32 and does not have many prime years left. It will be interesting to see how this plays out though.

he does have a massive home and business interests (his production company) in socal, so you have to think it's at least a possibility. i believe his preference is to stay in ne ohio and try to attract a true pg (chris paul?) and slasher/shooting forward (paul george?) to the north coast.

Here is a trivia question that may give you a hint of what he may have in mind.
Has any player played on 3 different franchise championship teams?

Aside from perhaps some role players at the far end of the bench, I can't think of any.

Lebron on the Clips makes a lot of sense. They are at a crossroads of either blowing up the current team, or doubling down with a big money add to get over the top. LBJ would fit that bill.
The Clips have never sniffed a championship let alone won one, so there is that, but IMO, their bigger problem is that no matter what you want to talk about when you mention SoCal Pro B-Ball here, the Clips never appear in any sentence that doesn't begin with, "The Lakers...". Lebron could change that as well.

IMO, it's a perfect fit.
