The other day I decided to brine a couple of Chicken breast (I'm talking about food here)
Then I seasoned them with cajun spice, and simple salt and pepper.
Seared them in the frying pan and cooked them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350.
In the meantime, I cooked up some corn on the cob. It's ready to pick here right now.
For the heck of it, I chopped up some cilantro, melted some butter and added a bit of garlic powder.
Mixed it all together. YUM! Put that on the corn and it's mighty tasty.
Ironically, the next day my son and I made steak topped with marinated mushrooms and blue cheese. I added some
finely chopped cilantro to the top of that....
Came out AWESOME!

Can't stand it. Taste like soap to me. I couldn't stand it for a long too and thought it tasted like perfume. Eventually I began to like and now if there isn't any in my salsa or guacamole it doesn't taste right at all. |

Proboards allows me to set up a star system based on number of posts. When we all first got here, I put a heirarchy of stars together based on specific post counts. However, since we've all been here so long now, those original thresholds have ended up giving everyone a zillion stars. So a few months ago I went back and just added a zero to the heirarchy. So what used to be 150 posts to get the second star is now 1500, etc. So, the lowest star rating is the "someone from France" category, which at the time I thought it up, I thought to be a wise crack about soccer. Checking your post count, you're a few hundred posts shy of your second star. |
