YGBFKM...  How did Protestantism in the American South ever get so f-ing crazy? In the pre-Civil War era, the Southern part of the American Baptist Church (founded by Roger Williams in the Rhode Island and Providence Plantations in the 17th century) separated from the northern church over the issue of slavery. The (northern) American Baptists--my childhood denomination-- believed that slavery was evil, and needed to be abolished in the U.S. The "southern" Baptists believed that they had a God given right to own, exploit, torture, and murder other human beings with impunity. Bring a Gun Everywhere You Go Day is the proper action for people who do not wish to be victims of liberal-fueled thugs who think they are entitled to take anything they want, INCLUDING another person's life.
If liberals don't want to carry guns, that's great. Let the thugs kill them and wipe them out. Liberal problem solved.
