1.18.2018 www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology/_/iteration/20210 ACC 8 SEC 2017-18 is as deep as I've seen the SEC in like forever. The quality of the talent and coaching is outstanding. SEC teams are going to beat up on each other leading to undervalued seeding and then go to the NCAAs and beat up some higher seeds. Don't be surprised when it happens.

2.26.2018 www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology/_/iteration/241I've almost completely shutdown following the basketball season. A good UF team has been playing so erratically that I can't watch the games without disgust for what I'm seeing. I don't know the internals of the team, but something isn't right. It's like HC Mike White has lost some of his best players. Not getting John Egbunu or either of UF's frontcourt freshmen back, freshmen are likely to redshirt, has hurt, but this is a capable team gone wrong. They inexplicably play stall ball which has led to repeated late game collapses, starting with Duke back in November, and losses plus they almost refuse to play defense. To top things off, 3 starters were late for a Friday night film session so they were removed from the starting lineup against Auburn and played fewer minutes. With the exception of junior SG KeVaughn Allen coming off the bench whom Mike White has to practically beg to shoot the ball, the subs played better than the starters. (shaking head) BTW, UF put it together enough at home to beat Auburn 72-66 even with the off the court hullabaloo. There was also another near second half collapse as UF lost a 14 point lead with just over 10 minutes to play falling behind twice before rallying for the win. I haven't watched the game and I don't intend to watch any more games this season. I won't waste my time watching this Gator team even if it puts together another run to the Elite 8. This isn't a great UF team, but it is a good team willing to wallow in mediocrity. I will not support or tolerate the acceptance of mediocrity by players from any Florida team.
