Our group is ranked 55,000th. WOOHOO! That's attributable to my 14 of 16 no thanks to Arizona. I lost on picking 9 seed NC State to take out 8 seed Seton Hall too. Since I didn't do any pre-pick studying for my bracket, I couldn't be happier with the good start. I'm looking forward to adding 2018 aolcfboutcasts NCAA Bracket Champion! to my sig line. The PAC 12 went 0-3 and out of the tourney on the first day of action. I had the wildcats losing to UK in the next game, but Buffalo? (shaking head) The SEC went 4-0 with the most wins ever by the SEC in any round. All teams were favored and won. The SEC is favored in all 4 games today too. I have a good start, but I took a flier on Gonzaga as national champion. Their 68-64 win is actually a good sign as it required the bulldogs to fight through adversity. Most national champions face adversity and some have faced OT to boot. I like Gonzaga and Mark Few a lot so I hope they make it through to the Final Four, no offense to our resident bucknut fans as tOSU is likely exiting the tourney against Gonzaga on Saturday.

After hanging on in the first game, my bracket took a dump. Ho hum. Maybe today will bring better results.

What is hilarious is, guess who is the only team in the Pac12 still playing basketball? USC.

True dat. Thanks. I remembered that soon after posting it. Shoulda qualified the statement a bit. Strange that the Pac12 is doing as well as it is in the NIT after the dumpster fire that was the NCAA. Seems to tell the story that the Pac was solid but unspectacular, which was sort of my take on the conference all season.

I was hoping for a another game between Florida and UCLA, the Gators took out the bruins in Final Fours in 2006-2007 plus in NCAA tourney action again in 2011 and 2014. Florida is 4-0 in basketball against UCLA. The Gators took down the bonnies last night 77-62 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score.

Damnit!, another 14 over 3 matchup with Marshall beating Wichita State. (shaking head) This game and Buffalo over Arizona are real head scratchers.
Butler is giving Arkansas heck leading by 8 in the first half so the piggies are working on the SEC's first tourney loss. There is time to recover, but I'ver seen this Butler dog and pony show before.

LeBron is a crazy person. He was standing in the hallway at United Center for several minutes of halftime, watching Ohio State's comeback, yelling at the TV....51-46 'Zags up in 2nd half
