Like I said, the case hardening isn't spectacular, so there wasn't much need to take many photos. I put off the maiden voyage today because my granddaughter had to go in to work, and she wanted to go, too. Hopefully Friday now. instead.

That's decent, yessir. Try not to blow this one up. It might have come out better if I had placed it in the sunlight. That's under the shaded carport ....... on top of my lawnmower's hood. I'm not a world class photographer anyway. I'll see what I can do.
I am going to do my damnedest not to destroy this one. They make very expensive firecrackers.
Oh yeah ................. it has the grips from 1875 #1 on it, since they have been refinished and refitted to my liking already.

How did you modify the grips from '75 #1 besides the finish?

How did you modify the grips from '75 #1 besides the finish? The grips from #1 are thinner than on #2. I don't know if they changed styling or what, but holding #2 felt like grabbing the business end of a baseball bat.
It's like holding a 1911 compared to a double-stack 9mm. Better pointability.

I would probably like #2 better with my large hands. One of the reasons I like my DW 44V - big ass grip like a baseball bat.
