It can kill varmints of the 4 legged kind quite well.
It can't kill people unless I want it to, and I consciously make that happen. But that's only a 20 round mag! How would you shoot Mike in the face 30 times with that non-standard capacity mag? You'll need to get a ten-rounder and do the quick change mag swap that liberals still don't comprehend. Different strokes for different folks but that sure seems like a big waste of ammo.... |

I have a 30 round mag too, but the 20 rounder handles better.
BTW, it was Bill Ruger who didn't want to sell his Mini-14's to civilians with greater than 5 round magazines. It was a while before the higher capacity Mini-14 mags came along. |

2 blocks away from my house is a corner where drug deals occur regularly. Right down from that corner, 2 DiddenDoNuffins shot each other to death a week or two ago. Random gunshots are a common sound at night, when I'm not listening to rap boomboxes in cars running up and down the street.
There IS a reason I have that Mini-14, and a nice stock of ammunition. There is a reason why that Mini-14 has a loaded mag (empty chamber) in it constantly. |

I am happy with 20 round mags, but the 30 rounder came with the rifle when I bought it. Should I just throw it away? It works, so the answer is NO.
We've been through this before. You don't NEED a 160 mph Maserati in which you will probably kill yourself and a few innocent motorists in a spectacular crash. But who am I to deny you your RIGHT to own one?

I don't have to show need in order to possess a legal instrumentality of ANY kind.nor does one need a 20 gal gas tank on their car.........unless they're running from the law, and don't want caught at the next gas station. Having that much gasoline at your disposal can't be for the fun of driving, nor to remove the inconvenience of having to stop more regularly. it can only be for malicious reasons according to "walt-logic". Which we all should adhere to because he fancies his thoughts superior to all. |
