Banning pillows, hammers and baseball bats will save lives too. Wonder why Mike isn't vocal about saving lives. Guess his opinion is ok with those items being used in murder but not AR-15's, silly me.

Here's the main thing you can't seem to grasp, must be due to a hole in your brain: KILLING OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS IS OUT-OF-TRACK. PERIOD. That's the reason to ban ar-15 rifles, and anything else that reminds us of one, since that seems to be the weapon of choice to school shooters. We don't really care that much that black people kill each other in stupid arguments with pistols, have fun with it.

The AR-15 is the choice of people who shoot up schools. This is a quirk that requires a specific fix. It looks to me like it will require amending/replacing the 2nd amendment; if I am forced to choose, I'll give up the 2nd to solve this.

Here. Let me agree with you: Immediately ban all mentally ill people from owning AR-15's and allow police agencies to know about any person in any school making threats or posting violent images on social media. Done. Problem solved. Now you've been told.
