Then my answer is Yes Because again, the entire point of the 2nd amendment was to make sure if the government tried to be a tyrannical one the citizens would be able to fight back using their own weapons. Today that no longer applies because the US military would defeat you and your ilk in 10 seconds if it came to that. So, mikey says we actually should have bazookas, missile launchers, anti-aircraft guns, machine guns, and large artillery to protect us in the 21st century from the 21st century weaponry of the government. glad you're catching on. Ba( they couldn't do it in 10 seconds in '73)Morin He never was a shining star of intelligence. (psst... he still hasn't caught on...)

Because she knows she'll be replaced with a judge who would reverse every single decision she ever made. If Clinton would've won I'm willing to bet she would've retired already. But shes going to try to hang on till the next Democrat president She needs the assault pillow that "your side" gave Justice Scalia... Scalia got replaced with a conservative. So no loss

Serious question: Why doesn't anyone bring Ruth Bader Ginsberg out of her coma long enough for her to sign HER retirement papers? Because she knows she'll be replaced with a judge who would reverse every single decision she ever made. If Clinton would've won I'm willing to bet she would've retired already. But shes going to try to hang on till the next Democrat president She has 7 more years of Trump, and then 8 years of Trump's REPUBLICAN successor. She is too dried up, senile, and Alzheimer's stricken to survive 15 more years. I recommend euthanasia for the old wingless bat.
P.S. Dingbat ............ SCOTUS judges are NOT supposed to base their rulings on their political prejudices. They are supposed to rule on cut and dried, black and white LAW.
Popularity polls mean NOTHING to properly operating, non-prejudiced SCOTUS. IOW.............. a CONSERVATIVE SCOTUS.

That Nixon appointed Stevens. I will say this. You are about the real kinda middle of the road person on here. Nixon appointed Stevens to the Court of Appeals. Ford appointed him to the Supreme Court.

So lets recap here There was an all out war between the US military vs US citizens in 1973 in Minnesota and South Dakota that involved full scale battles with guns, tanks, missiles, planes, bombs, etc... that had casualties and the US military lost Is that what you're claiming

OK, lets recap here..........this was your question.......... There was an open war between the US military and citizens that included guns and shooting at each other in 1973??
Missed that one in history class.Read more: aolcfboutcasts.proboards.com/thread/35183/retired-scotus-stevens-repeal-amendment?page=3#ixzz5B2ezH8A3Same as walt or any other lib......show 'em how stupid they are, and they double down with instinctive stupidity by moving their own goal posts further away. Yes mike, there was open war between the US Military, US Marshals , FBI, CIA..........vs armed US citizens Amazing. How did the US citizens defeat such a large force with all those weapons? What was the casualty numbers? And it was you who moved the goal posts forward Let me ask you this point blank. Would a group of US citizens be able to defeat the entire might of the us military with all its weapons today in a full scale all out war?
