It was Wake Forest's first home loss of the season and only their second loss as they fell to 15-2. The demon deacons other loss was 4-3 at Florida State.

UF's record advanced to 13-6 (7-1).

Next Up: The Gators play Sunday at #26 South Carolina to close the week. Next week UF plays 2 more SEC matches on the road, at Texas A&M and at LSU.

After beating #1 Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, the Gators dropped into Columbia on the way home and lost a 4-3 match to #26 South Carolina:

The Gators come in as the tourneys 3rd seed. It's a good team, better than most UF men's teams, but not a great team. They did upset #1 Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, but they lost a lot of the big time matches that would have propelled them higher had they won.
