So are they designed to kill. Yes or no According to Mutt and I they are. No. Patents by their very nature are pretty complete descriptions of a firearm's design. They have to be if one is to profit from one's work. Pull up the patent for a Glock 17 w a 33 rd extendo and pls point out where it says it is "designed to kill" or "designed to kill in mass". So what's a guns purpose

I've never seen either one of them say something that dumb. You better pony up some quotes, son. Your hole is getting deep. Because you dont want to No. I claim they said guns arent designed to kill. You prove me wrong. Better yet. Let them prove me wrong. I dare both of them to now say guns are designed to kill. Lets see if they do The "Lone Ranger" only shot silver bullets. Do you know why? When he shot the bad guys, the silver bullets wouldn't kill them, only wound them, another case of the good guys doing the right thing. Personally, I would like the bad guys taken down permanently.

No I'm asking you. If a gun in no way shape or form designed to kill. Then what is its purpose Read the patent. Do some research and get back to me. Then you'll understand better, through your study of patents, the definition of purpose, design intent, design........... If you are really interested is learning and getting up to speed it'll be a good experience for you. If not, carry on.

Keep making my point for me. Thanx. Oh...and do not forget. Last week, she was a good guy with a gun who was only a poor defenseless woman trying to defend herself from all those boogeymen out there. I'm not trying to make any point other than an AR isn't the issue, pivot all you like. If you want to paint a bigger picture, do so and make your point but the AR isn't the issue. Why do you use it as an example of making your intended point? So let's confirm, what your bigger picture point is? Machines that fire very large numbers of bullets in a very short amount of time. That includes ALL such machines.

ARs, however, seem to have a disturbingly twisted "mass murder coolness factor" that has nothing to do with the product or machinery of the gun and all to do with its styling. It is an intangible aspect of the gun that has an effect on both the pro and anti-gun folks, so it clearly is an issue that needs to be addressed as well.

There there little fella... everything's going to be ok... you can stay in your safe place where the bad men with legally owned guns will say the guns are designed only to kill. Here is an Eddie Eagle coloring book to make you feel better.

You are free to offer your own explanations as to why a lot of recent mass murderers choose the AR. Go ahead and give it a whack. Can't wait to hear your explanation.
