Took a range trip today and put 100 .45ACP rounds and maybe 20 .45 Colt rounds through my Uberti Regulator 4.75" Colt SAA clone today. That gun is soooo sweet and is probably the most accurate handgun I have. It definitely has the best trigger! I know it shoots better than I can.
My brother brought his genuine official made in Hartford COLT SAA 5.5" in .45 Colt (have you seen the prices on those things??  ). I couldn't shoot his longer barrelled, identical gun nearly as well as I did my own. The Colt comparatively has a heavy, sharp trigger pull, and when I went back to shooting MY gun, I fired a few wild ones because I forgot to readjust to its light trigger pull.
$500 Uberti or $2000 Colt?
It's a no brainer.
