Demar DeRosen is having his jersey retired at USC. The guy is a great player, but was very good but not great in his one and done year at USC.
Why retire the jersey? Should ANY one and done player have a jersey retired?

No diplopma, no consideration. I'm with Coach K on this.

Should ANY one and done player have a jersey retired? I had to look him up under his real name to find out anything about him. Looked like nothing special in college. Definitely no Pete Maravich, or Shaquille O'Neal.
"DeRozan also suffers from depression, and is an advocate for others suffering with it. After DeRozan and fellow NBA player Kevin Love spoke publicly on mental health it prompted the NBA to add a new rule that requires a team to have at least one full time licensed mental health professional on their staff. The duo also appeared in a PSA video by the NBA that launched alongside a new website with various mental health resources."
Now the NBA should go further and add a new rule that requires a team to have at least one full time licensed anger management professional on their staff.

Why do you say that? What anger management issues are there in the NBA?

Why do you say that? What anger management issues are there in the NBA? They have bench-clearing brawls because they are HAPPY? They go into the stands to attack the FANS and deliver birthday presents at the same time?
Wow. Who knew!

That's your evidence? A few altercations over a 30 year time span? Like I said, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Way better than you are, apparently. Athletes passionate about their sport and playing in the heat of the moment isn't an anger management issue. Learn the difference.

Then if you say something I don't like about something I passionately support and I break your jaw, it's just fine and dandy. Gotcha.
What makes you think ATHLETES are exempt from the rules of civilization? What does attacking a FAN have to do with the game?
You are admitting they ARE the animals they are behaving like.
You are losing this one badly. Just stop.

they're 'animals'? wow. talk about being uncivilized... put yourself at the top of that list. as for fights in the league? are you insinuating there are no consequences for altercations like the videos you posted? a technical foul is a punishment. a fine from the nba office is a punishment. suspensions are punishments. losing your temper beyond the bounds of the rules of the game does matter. as for your claim about players fighting fans? last time I remember anything getting physical in the stands was 15 years ago w/ron artest up in detroit, though a number of players have begun speaking up about comments made by fans, and there have been more than a few fans who've been ejected from arenas and in a couple cases banned from attending games for verbally harassing players. you know, being uncivilized.
