With the season cancelled apparently, there should be no champion for this year. Leave it vacant with an asterisk. There's no law that says there HAS to be a champion.

Football for most years was decided the same way before the BCS came but then who really believed that BYU was National Champs in 1984.. |

Who was ranked at the top most of the year? I really don't care about basketball but hey, if they had the most weeks at #1 and were there when the season was called, I guess that's as good as any. |

Being #1 during the season does not mean that team will win it all at the end.
Leave it vacant. The "winning" team wouldn't be able to get together and celebrate anyway.
If you told the nation that staying inside for 15 days straight would make sure the 2020 football season took place, the entire South would come to a complete standstill.

GONE APESHIT! So would Oklahoma, Ohio, and South Carolina. And ESPiN, and everyone else who would have lost a fortune.

We overdosed on football for two or three days around New Years Day and then fought about who war really number one until football season came around again. |
