The Mets have finally started to play up to their talent level. It's no surprise that it coincides with the call up of their top prospects. Baty, Alvarez and now Vientos are getting the shots they earned in Spring Training and it has injected some life into the Mets, taking two of three from Rays and now sweeping the Guardians. I like it. š

SHUT OUT 6-0 to a pitcher that was 2-4 with a 4.83 era.....the month of May just sucks.

Losing 3-2 to the Cards__where are they going to find 2 runs Jose gave us 2 runs___still left 23 men on base, but I'll take 2 of 3 from the Cards and they followed up today w a 5-0 win at baltimore where logan allen tossed 7 shutout innings and steven kwan sparked a 4 run inning stretching a grounder up the middle into a hustle double and then scoring from 2nd on a fielderās choice, not stopping when an outfield thrown got away from the oās catcher. back to back w joseās heroics, maybe a turning point???

They have won 3 of 4 so that is confidence boost that could kick start the summer...... Rosario, Naylor and Giminez were a combined 0-12 today and the Guards are going to need them to step up tomorrow when they face Kyle Gibson who has shut down the Yankees last week in a win

LOL__As long as they have those 2 guys in their lineup, they are the cheatin' astros. Seeing the Astros leave 34 men on base says a lot about the defense making the plays in the field in particularly Kwan.

I had to explain to jodi why everyone was so lustily booing altuve all night long. lol. kwan and gimenez both had gems in the field last night. naylor fighting off 2 0-2 foul balls before stroking it to left center in the 9th to tie it. brennan went the same way to eventually win it. great crowd last night too, and the majority of us hung out for all 4 hrs.
