Nothing major but I self tested for covid. Negative. Started getting a fever last evening.
Woke up this morning with a horrible sore throat and headache and tested a hard positive.
I immediately started the Ivermectin protocol for covid - 0.5mg per kg of body weight.
200lbs = 90kg x 0.5 = 45mg once a day for 5 days.
My pharmaceutical Ivermectin pills are 12mg each so 4 of those for a 48mg dose. Close enough to 45.

Today is the first day in a week that I have not had a fever from the covid. Still have the cough. Fever went as high as 102dF. It was no fun.
You're going to have a really shitty week. Just accept it.

1) wolly is lying. Highly probable since it happens all the time.

The vaccines have not prevented Omicron infections-- as I learned on Christmas Day last year-- but they have prevented Delta infections and morbidity and mortality from Omicron. My wife and I were both sick for about a week after Christmas, but we didn't develop shortness of breath or require hospitalization. It took me 3-4 weeks to get back up to speed with my work outs after catching Omicron, and I missed the January ski season. |

He also said (paraphrasing) the vaccines would help prevent hospitalizations and keep people out of ICU. On the whole, that seems accurate.
