If your FA was store bought, you probably did a background check and the store's copy of the 4473 is available for BATF review. Though what you bought is listed on the 4473, the only thing fed.gov knows is you bought a firearm. They don't get a copy. Nor is the purchase registered. They review it and provide a NTN. If they want more they request a trace and the store provides a copy of the completed 4473, which has all of the info incl all of the gun info individual info.

I can walk to two different the police stations from my house. One is about 400 yards from here, the other about 3/4 mile.
I'm not worried. Cop will be here almost faster than I can fetch a gun if I owned one.

My Bro-in-law has a couple guns. I asked him when was the last time he practiced or even held one of them... "I dunno, maybe 10 years..."

All FFL's are required to keep all Form 4473s on file and available for inspection if need be. I've read that BATF prefers that FFL's keep digital scans but they can just keep the original paper if they like. Most people don't like having that info in the digital domain since it can be hacked/manipulated. Something to think about asking your FFL when buying or transferring a firearm.

You never indicted if there is homeless population roaming the neighborhood at all hours of the night. Don't see how there couldn't be since L.A. is the homeless capital of the US.
You do know the current formula, cheaper/easier to mfr., meth is making people much crazier and violent much faster than the old pseudoefedrine (Sudifed) meth did, right?

There are a few, but being homeless at a SoCal beach in the summer is such a sweet gig, the homeless are very careful not to piss off the public or the police.

I actually had one homeless guy cleaning up some other homeless guy's trash from the alley and complaining that the jerk was giving the homeless a bad reputation. I kid you not.
