What If Rankings

Hope this comes through, my luck with posting stuff from Twitter is abysmal. Anyway, this "What If" chart shows just how close a team at 10-2 is from being 7-5. Also shows which teams know how to win the close games.

would like to show this to the 50%+ of the buckeye fan base who seems to want to fire a coach who is 45-5. lol. 'tho it's nice to see tosu on top of the list, there is a talent to consistently winning those close games too.

Not only that, but if my team is up two scores with a few minutes left, I might let you march slowly down the field and get back one of the two, knowing you have little chance to get the second.
IOW, my defense dictates an outcome that the 'what if' doesn't take into account.

Good thing you're not a coach. "What if" you're feeling cocky and let the other team march down the field and score, and then they execute a perfect on-side kick and score again?

Simply pointing out that tactics and personnel change based on getting an end result. If the end result is different, things change.
A good example is the D played to stop an opponent when you have a 1-3 point lead late vs the D you might play with a 4 or more point lead late.

if last year a 17 pt loss would have dropped a team 5 spots georgia would’ve dropped out of the playoff field too. c’mon… it’s a clickbait question.
