The 49ers are in trouble they cannot throw the ball They would be better off with McCaffrey in the wildcat

It's a shame that Brock Purdy got hurt in the first quarter.
I hate to see a championship game decided by injuries.
Josh Johnson got cut by the Broncos in the pre-season.

I think it’s Phillies year, Kansas City, Cincinnati it doesn’t matter Phillies too much I give the eagles credit for taking advantage of their opportunities. but they got 31 pts on just 265 total yds thanks to a lot of stuff. 1st td drive they benefit on a smith catch that really wasn’t, setting up a td. purdy gets injured on sf’s 6th play of the game rendering his right arm useless and forcing them to turn to a 4th string qb who’s been on 13 different teams. philly gets bailed out 3 times by 49er penalties giving them first downs on another td drive. the 4th string qb fumbles a snap right in his hands then boots the ball twice on the ground, setting up the eagles on a SHORT field for a 21-7 lead. johnson gets knocked out by a concussion forcing shanahan to bring a qb back in who couldn’t throw early in the 3rd. purdy threw 1 weak screen pass the rest of the game. sure is easier to defend an offense when you know they can’t throw. eagles get bailed out again on a roughing the kicker call (sure did looked like the philly blocking back rode him right into the punter to me), extending another td drive. again, give the eagles credit. they took advantage of a every break and didn’t give the niners any openings. they’ve had an incredible season. but they will need to play much much better imho in 2 weeks in order to bring home the lombardi imho.
