Iowa really needed a second scorer to step up today....great season though Refs were brutal. No consistency. They're still talking about Clarks' tech. foul...LSU had it all the way thru...they had 3 players scoring 20+ points

Refs were bad across the board in that game. yeah that was a letter of the law call vs a spirit of the law ruling. time was out, it wasn't flung or heaved out of the field of play at all. odd that they tee'd her up on that, and let some flying elbows go against both teams that each could've been flagrant fouls. like you said, incredibly inconsistent.

LSU had the better team, biggest difference imo was they were much stronger on the boards. no argument on the rebounding edge, but when you shoot 65% from 3 (making 11 of them) and 54% from the field overall, taking advantage of the 14 extra shots those boards gave you, tough combo to beat. fun to watch. Iowa was 47% from 3 and 50% overall...normally those numbers would add up to a W. Not yesterday, though.
