She is AWESOME with the lasagne. Everybody who has ever had her lasagne gushes about how it's the best lasagne they've ever had. Since it's a lot of work she always makes a huge batch of three full size pyrex baking dishes and she freezes two of them. The trick is to mix italian sausage into the hamburger. I invented this little trick with my super coolio tastius maximus extraordinaire hamburger patties on the grill. Flotus tried it, LOVED it and now claims on the internet that it is his idea. What a total douche.  |

On a side note , next time you make spaghetti with meatballs. If you can find it, make the meatballs out of brat meat. Really good.

My Sweetheart uses ground pork, ground beef, and sausage to make meatballs for her spaghetti. She adds some of that mix to the sauce as it cooks as well, but the meatballs are outstanding.

All of these lasagna ideas are good ones..... It seems everyone has their own "secret" to a good lasagna! For me, I like my lasagna with a sauce made of fire-roasted tomatoes and chunky onions and mushrooms, simmered with plenty of red wine......Walmart's cheap dry reds are good for that....
