With the article that Harry provided about 130-140 people are shot and killed every single day My definition of rare is vastly different than yours No guns are allowed at the NFL draft. You go through metal detectors and they search you At least they did when the draft was in Cleveland Guns also aren't allowed at malls, schools, concerts, airports, grocery stores, parades, or government buildings, but somehow, they get in. They're not? You sure about that

Yeah it does. You're gonna tell me people killing others with guns is rare in this country? Compared to how many people own guns legally in this country? Absolutely rare. The vast majority of gun deaths by murder are by illegal guns. Stop with the emotional immaturity and get over yourself. You come back and all you've down is post drama about people murdering people and trying to blame it on the gun. Don't be a tool. Illinois man, 59, fatally shot by neighbor while using leaf blower in his own yard, officials say Ettore Lacchei, 79, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of first-degree murder after the April 12 shooting of his next-door neighbor William Martys, 59.

Ya pretty rare BUT if if happens to you or someone close that matters not. That it happens at all matters but it is rare. I probably inter faced w 200 people today, walked by another five thousand as I walked around city market in KC and earlier the nfl draft area and drove by another thousand. Times two if you included my wife. Times the other 5 thousand. No firearm issues. no firearm issues among the 150,000 in at the nfl draft on Thursday I know of. If you add the interpersonal contacts, you have maybe a million or two? Or five. Nationwide in a country of x million you have a whole lot of points of contact. Daily. Maybe a billion? But when it happens stats mean nothing. It’s one of one. With the article that Harry provided about 130-140 people are shot and killed every single day My definition of rare is vastly different than yours No guns are allowed at the NFL draft. You go through metal detectors and they search you At least they did when the draft was in Cleveland Fair enough but in a nation of x million there are a billion contacts daily. Divide 140 by a billion and let me know if you think that number would be considered rare. BUT, as I said when your that number stats are 100%.

You dismiss how rare that is, which you are suggesting it isn’t. Not that it happened.

Happens 1 time in 500 years That's rare Happens 130 times a day. Not even close to rare

I've got the anti-gun crowd sussed. They're afraid of an inanimate object. They don't trust themselves with a gun. They are afraid of what they might do with a gun. They think if they had a gun in their hands they would be tempted to shoot someone and the gun would compel them to do so. So they project all of their fear and sissyness about guns onto legal gun owners who have none of these child-like fears and mental midgetry.

I guess a citizen with a gun permit could legally carry in those places, except for government buildings. But thugs and mass murderers don't typically have a permit to carry a gun.

Pay attention. What are the odds? You're a sports fan, c'mon man. Then why do you need any guns for protection if the odds are 0 according to you and Harry In what you describe, think of a gun as an insurance policy with benefits. The insurance policy is only a minor part of why sportsman own guns but you can't seem to get that through your head. Not sure why you want to constantly focus on negatives. Bail the negative waves, man.

I guess a citizen with a gun permit could legally carry in those places, except for government buildings. But thugs and mass murderers don't typically have a permit to carry a gun. Airports - no, by law. Schools - no, by law. Indian reservations - no, by law. Post Offices - no, by law. You can't even be in the parking lot or anywhere on the property of the above locations. Concerts - almost always no, by the promoter. Anywhere where a business has a sign posted but all they can do if they find out is ask you to leave, and if you won't you can only be charged with trespassing. I carry my gun anywhere that I'm legally allowed to, even businesses where there's a sign. They don't know I'm carrying unless I have to pass through a metal detector.
