lots of good things going on recently for trump. 

- supreme court ruled insurrectionists can still run for president 

- he has wrapped up the gop nomination.  he got through the nomination process pretty unscathed.  

- his georgia trial has turned into an annoying gossipy and salacious sideshow.  

- the supreme court is not going to allow jack smith to make his case against trump prior to the election 

- his judge in the classified documents case is either scared of trump or a loyal maga supporter b/c nearly every ruling made favors trump.  

-  trump controls the republicans in the house of representatives who not only have the majority, but also make decisions on what's best for trump politically instead of what's best for the country

- the democrats best option and nominee is a very old guy who has clearly declined mentally and physically recently.  even is his peak, biden was just a meh politician.  

- left wing progressives hate biden b/c he wont call out israel for genocide and other independents are against biden for suggesting that israel concern themselves more with humanitarian aid for innocent gaza civilians.  the israel/gaza situation is literally a no win situation for biden.  he loses support from democrats no matter what position he takes.  

- even though the economy is better and even though trumps has campaigned that he wants to raise tariffs and deport everyone who works in the agriculture industry, people still trust trump with the economy over biden.

But the Supreme Court, referencing Section 5 of the 14th Amendment, states Congress has the responsibility to enforce it. In the 196 years since the 14th Amendment was adopted, Congress has yet to enforce it.

agree obama was a bit soft on russia.  but i don't really blame him as obama inherited messes with iraq and afghanistan.  don't think he thought the country wanted the US to meddle b/c of all the recent conflicts US was involved with.  in hindsight, that probably was not the correct approach.  but on the other hand, putin knows that trump is an ally and he owns the republican party.  taking control of ukraine was his motivation for interfering with the 2016 election (based on paul manaforts role).

So Putin waited until after the 2020 election for Biden to become president before invading Ukraine? But I thought you said Trump was an ally of Putin. Why not invade while he had a friend in the White House? It seems that Biden is his friend. He has refused to give Ukraine what they needed to win. Fighter jets and missiles would defeat Russia, and Biden has refused those.
