Something ain't quite right. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say if someone walked on wet sand and left footprints, and that sand was instantaneously super-heated by over 3000 degrees, the prints would be still imbedded...

Maybe it was one of God's miracles, but under normal scientific conditions, it would be impossible. Just like the global warming myth.

#1- You have experience in this area? #2- Are 'normal scientific conditions' the same as nature?

Leave some footprints in snow, and do not disturb them. Protect them from being blown away or deformed in any manner. When the snow eventually melts, go check the puddle of water left behind and see if you can find those footprints. My semi-educated guess says you won't. Go back and see what is left behind after the puddle evaporates.
The pillar of fire followed the Hebrews for MANY nights. So why wasn't there a burned path of destruction all along the way?
Not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken literally.

We're talking apples & oranges about a PICTURE... No one said anything about leaving footprints in molten sand, which, btw, is very different than WET sand, by the Red Sea. Similar to comparing snow slowly melting to wet sand being instantaneously super-heated to around 3-4,000 degrees. The pillar of fire didn't FOLLOW the Israelites, it LED them, & at night time only.

That's because the pillars of fire were actually lighted torches carried by men, NOT a literal pillar of fire. Sand heated to 3 or 4000 degrees will melt, totally obliterating any marks in it. It may instantly heat, but it does not instantly cool down. No footprints would remain.

How hot is God's fire? They didn't have any tools to try to measure 3,000 years ago. Which version of the Bible did you get that torches idea? Never mind, I think I'm done talking this issue with you.

Who could walk barefooted on 3000 degree melted sand?
Something ain't quite right. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say if someone walked on wet sand and left footprints, and that sand was instantaneously super-heated by over 3000 degrees, the prints would be still imbedded... Or the discussion could be centered on how does a footprint become a fossil? With a secondary conversation on how long that would take. Then an even further discussion about when the footprints were made.
