I have been trying to keep in shape and since 1 hamburger for me means that I gain 3 lbs, I have been avoiding them. But one of my favorite hamburgers is stuffed with Brie and then topped with red onion and wild mushrooms. My second favorite is stuffed with blu cheese and roasted garlic, topped with roasted red pepper and cooked red onions. Of course the bun has to be no less than a good kaiser from the local bakery. Serve with a decent glass of Merlot and I'm a happy lady.
So whats your favorite Hamburger?

Top with a slice of Vidalia onion and hoop cheese. Serve on a fresh potato roll from the Paraguayian bakery. Add tomato fresh from the garden, of course. Glass of iced tea sweetened with Stevia In The Raw. By the way, I pulled a dozen ears of corn from the garden yesterday and we had corn on the cob about 1 hour later. It was absolutely wonderful.

In my younger days I managed a Hickory Farms Store, however that is one I have never heard of. The burger sounds wonderful! I actually gave in tonight and had my blu cheese burger with extra blu. God was good and it didn't start raining until after I got my burger cooked. This lady is now a burger eatin, happy camper!

My favorite is made of freshly ground (never frozen) angus chuck with mayo, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickle slices and of course, salt and pepper. Classic.

That reminds me of Mc D's, you know, 2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame bus. Can't believe I remember that! But tonight I was a good girl, I did have 90% lean beef, although 80% is usually recommended. So if anyone is looking for me, I will be out doing some wind sprints on a 5 miler tomorrow. Must.................... leave............... the............. gelatto............ in........ the........... store!!

This lady is now a burger eatin, happy camper! [Hoop cheese is an old fashioned cheese made from milk only, and no cream or salt is added. It looks and tastes like cheddar, in fact it's officially a cheddar cheese. It's called hoop cheese because it was made in a large round wooden box and sliced in the general store as you ordered it. A wheel, or hoop, of cheese weighs about 22 pounds. It is covered with a wax rind, red for mild and black for sharp cheese. Mosts stores that sell "hoop" cheese simply sell a cheddar cheese with a red wax rind that is made with cream and salt added. Here's a link that explains hoop cheese. If you ever find it you will never buy cheese in the supermarket again./font]

I love all burgers , but one of my favs is ground chuck with guacamole and some good muenster with some deli mustard. A good chuck burger with baby swiss and some butter and EVO sauted mushrooms is good too. Put them on some nice fresh toased focacia buns and YUM!! Lately been on a little health kick too so I've switched to a good lean all white meat turkey burger w/ some low fat monzerella and avacado on a whole wheat bun. Still gotta have the deli mustard though.

Well I checked out the info on Hoop Cheese and looks like its just another reason for me to move South. The real estate prices are good and the taxes are low. Plus, I already have a place to stay while I re-establish my work. Gator, Nice job on the turkey burger with the mozz and avacado! I think next week, I'll pick up some bison. Not sure if its a lean, but it is leaner than cow.
