Driskel hasn't done a damned thing in his entire career at UF. I don't give a damn where he was rated. What he's accomplished in college is basically nothing. He hasn't shown anything to prove that he's worthy of the lofty ranking.

It's as if you've never heard of the term "bust".

As to your comment about Will Grier. 1) we don't know how good he's going to be, and 2) if he steps in and is forced to play starting quarterback for the Gators as a true freshman....that tells me, and the rest of us, EXACTLY what it means regarding the talent at quarterback for the Gators.

I'm fully aware of your talent level at quarterback. Driskel is and has been underwhelming, Murphy is gone, Moringwheg (or however you spell it), looked completely lost in his limited time, and Grier has never taken a snap.

And you're blustering that UF is loaded with talent at quarterback.

And you're not getting Harris, but, there's still a couple of weeks to signing day.

ET, it is time to accept the fact that if someone criticizes your team, it doesn't mean they're biased. There's a reason you guys were 4-8 this year, and you can't lay ALL of it at the feet of the injury bug.

No way does UF go 4-8 without all of the injuries. Yes, the offensive schemes sucked, but UF has made appropriate changes.

Jeff Driskel? 11-2 and 37-26 says you are wrong and especially so in a spread offense that allows Driskel to better utilize his skills.

It occurs to me that you are setting yourself up to be as wrong about UF as you were coming in to 12 and that is with the 14 team not having the gaps in the roster that they had coming into 12. UF has a better chance of going 12-0 than the 7-5 you are predicting.

UF is a team filled with busts. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I didn't say that UF goes 4-8 without the injuries. But you damn sure don't go 11-2 with everyone healthy either. The Miami loss proved that you simply weren't that good.

Again...when you're in doubt, you drop back to 37-26 from over a year ago, as some sort of magic that the Gators are good. Your 11-2 record wherein you caught so many great bounces that teams don't often get. You needed a late turnover and blocked punt to defeat Louisiana-Lafayette. You needed an interception in the end zone as time expired to hold off Missouri.

Newsflash...you weren't running a spread offense during your 11-2 season. So how do you know that Driskel will perform so much better? You don't. You're hoping. But you don't know shit.

I was wrong in 12. I wasn't wrong in 11, and I was damn sure less wrong than you were in 13....when you were dreaming of crystal, when just about everyone knew your season in 12 was smoke and mirrors. A credit to your staff that you got to 11-2. That's a great season, given the talent level on offense.

Your 14 teams still has several gaps on the roster. I'm sorry that you're not able to notice. And I never said your team was filled with busts. I said that Driskel, with all of the 5 star hoopla that you're showering on him, has been a bust to this point. If you want to argue otherwise, feel free...but you're wrong.

You're talking about two different things. You act as if you guys were perfectly healthy, you'd go 14-0. Sorry, that isn't correct.

You lost to Miami at full strength. Miami's defense was not good last year, and you lost that game.

The injuries caused you to go 4-8. But your injuries don't explain the other 7 losses.

I fully agree that if we lost our starting quarterback to injury, we don't play for the title.

Alas, your starting quarterback isn't as good as our starting quarterback.

He's been a problem from the beginning. He was in the car with Isaiah Crowell, then had 2 suspensions for smoking the evil weed. He was going to miss the first 3 games from his latest encounter.
New DC Pruitt told the team that spring performance would decide who started and every potition was open. JHC thought he was entitled to an automatic starting status and has been giving attitude to coaches and players. Richt and Pruitt conferred and decided this was for the best. There was a pool among fans on when his next failed drug test would be.
