In Trump's case, he did not ask that the SOS be certain that all the cast votes were counted. He demanded that a specific minimum number of votes (and only those votes FOR HIM) be 'found'. At no time did Trump ask for any number of votes to be faked, manufactured, or "found" by any illegal means. At not time did he ask that his opponent's votes NOT be counted or "found."
Obviously an overwhelming MAJORITY of American voters have full confidence in President Trump. His LANDSLIDE VICTORY speaks for itself.
Again ............ nice fail.

Lying under oath is ILLEGAL. Not quite. The lie must be material to the case. That's why people like Clinton, who lied about Monica, was never prosecuted for perjury.

1. The judge didn't rule one way or the other about the materiality. 2. Impeachment isn't a criminal proceeding. Oh...and he was acquitted anyway. Gimme yer shovel, grab this rope and I'll pull you up. I bet it's gettin' dark down there. FTR, Clinton's lies under oath may not have risen to the level of perjury, but is actions were completely unethical, both in his lies and his attempts to get others to lie for him. He's lucky he didn't get prosecuted for witness tampering, and rightfully did get in trouble with the bar re: his law license. As I have said here many times, I would never have voted for him again. |

It didn't go well for them. |
