So, I pick up the LA Times this morning and in the food section there is yet another recipe for shrimp and grits and once again, from a different source, there is yet another call for milk and cream in the grits. ....And if the cream don't kill me....check it out.....in addition, this recipe uses 12 strips of bacon as well... Dude... Do you want to end up like flotus? No, you don't, trust me on this. You are exactly right. You would think the LA Times guy would read the recipe with a critical eye...but no. Cream filled grits, (which did NOT taste very good, IMO, in that last recipe I tried) and then double down with 12 strips of bacon? Are you kidding me? Flotus: DO NOT READ THIS THREAD.
